Founded in 2009 by retired Army Veteran A. Zackery Shepherd, KinderCare in Aneho. in Aného is a dedicated initiative aimed at uplifting disadvantaged children and youth across Togo. In a joint venture with the local non-profit, Les Amis des Enfants d’Aného, we focus on providing essential support to those who need it most. From nutritious meals and hygiene supplies to critical medical care, we address the basic needs that allow children to lead healthier and more secure lives.
At KinderCare in Aneho. we believe that lasting change goes beyond immediate aid. To help break the cycle of poverty, we offer comprehensive educational resources, academic support, and vocational training, giving children and young adults the tools to succeed both in school and in the workforce. We also provide safe, stable housing and nurturing mentorship programs to help each child grow with confidence, resilience, and purpose.
Guided by a vision of compassion, opportunity, and empowerment, KinderCare in Aneho. strives to create a foundation where every child has the chance to realize their full potential. By fostering an environment of dignity and hope, we empower young individuals to become self-sufficient adults who can contribute to their communities and inspire future generations.
